Emmerdale's Tony Audenshaw calls for co
...and reveals which current co-star he wants more scenes with.
Emmerdale actor Tony Audenshaw has called for one of his former co-stars to make a return to the soap.
The actor, who plays Bob Hope on the ITV show, is currently involved in a big storyline involving Wendy Posner's cheating.
Bob is devastated by the revelation, and Audenshaw has stated that he feels like his character could do with his family around him.
"I'd love Alex Carter, who played Bob's son Jamie, to come back. We are still mates," the actor told Inside Soap.

"They'd have to recast Bob's other son, Josh, as the lad who played him was Marc Silcock, who later played Aaron's boyfriend Jackson! Josh could be anywhere doing anything — the same with Bob's daughter Roxy, who I think is in America."
Beyond the return of Bob's children, Audenshaw revealed which current cast member he'd like to work with more.
"I've always wanted to have more scenes with Amy [Walsh, aka Tracy]," he explained, "and from what I understand I'll be getting that chance. There's a dramatic story on the cards involving Bob's close circle that I certainly didn't see coming, and I don't think it's one that's been done in a soap before..."

The actor recently spoke to Digital Spy about Bob's current romantic connection with Bernice Blackstock, although he didn't confirm if they were going to become a couple.
"The Bernice and Bob stuff has just been great. The fabulous opening of the B&B, we really enjoyed it – there was a lot of comedy. Obviously there's a bit of chemistry there. Bob's got history with feisty women, which Bernice definitely is.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
